Khel Vision
Terms of use
What Khel Vision does with a recording you give it, what we ask of you in return, and who owns the consequences of a reel once you publish it.
Khel Vision is a controlled alpha on Android. These terms cover the app and this website. Section 6 — your responsibilities — is the part the app also shows you on the phone, and the part worth reading first.
1Who these terms are between
In these terms, Khel Vision, we and us mean the team that makes and runs Khel Vision, and you mean the person using it — whether through the Android app (com.khelvision.app), through this website, or through any test or pre-release build we have given you.
Using Khel Vision means you accept these terms. If you are using it on behalf of a club, an academy or any other organisation, you are confirming that you may accept them for that organisation.
2Khel Vision is an alpha
Access is granted by invitation. There is no public sign-up, the app is not distributed through Google Play, and builds are handed out to a small group of testers.
An alpha is allowed to change and allowed to break. Features can be added, altered or withdrawn; a build can be replaced; analysis can be slow, queued or briefly unavailable. We do not promise a service level, an uptime figure, or that any particular capability will still exist next month.
Keep your own copy of anything you care about. Your original recordings stay on your device and your finished reels are written to your device, so the app is not the only copy of your work — but nothing we hold should be treated as a backup.
3Your account and access
You sign in either with an email address and a one-time code, or through your organisation’s sign-in where that has been set up for you. Keep your access to yourself: anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
Your matches, analyses and reels are scoped to the account that made them. On a shared device, switching accounts hides the other account’s work entirely.
Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to your account, at hello@khelvision.in.
4What we do with a recording you give us
When you record or upload a match, the app converts the recording into a format that can be uploaded and sends it to us for analysis.
We use it for one purpose: to find the rallies in it and return them to your phone with their shot counts and their place in the match. Doing that produces further copies and processed versions of the recording, and those are covered by this section and by the privacy policy in the same way as the upload itself.
We do not sell your recordings, and we do not use them to train models. What we keep and for how long is in the privacy policy.
Separately from the recording itself, the app reports diagnostics about how it is used and how failures end. What it sends, what it never sends, and how to turn it off are described in section 2 of the privacy policy.
5What you may not do
While using Khel Vision, you must not:
- provide anything you do not have the rights to, or that breaks the conditions in section 6;
- provide broadcast, televised or professional-league footage, or material carrying a federation, league or club’s own branding that you have not been given permission to use;
- attempt to work around the limits of the service, or automate access to it in a way that degrades it for others;
- share or resell access to the alpha, or redistribute a build you have been given;
- use the service to harass, surveil or profile anyone.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, and we may do it without notice where footage involving minors is concerned.
6Your responsibilities
This is the section the Android app also shows you on the phone — in full, offline, at every point where footage enters and every point where a reel leaves. What appears there and what appears here are the same sentences.
Two conditions of use
These are conditions, not advice. Both must be true of every recording you give us.
- A source you give Khel Vision must be a recording you personally own or are authorised to provide.
- Every identifiable person in it must be an adult who agreed to being recorded.
The app asks you to affirm both, per recording, rather than once when you sign up — because the answer differs from one clip to the next. A person can hold one recording outright and hold none of the rights in the next.
Minors
Footage involving minors must never be submitted, on any plan, for any purpose.
This one is absolute. There is no exception, no tier it relaxes on, and no setting that changes it.
Publication is your act
If you publish a reel or any other output — to a social platform, a channel, a client, a team, or anywhere else — that publication is yours. You are responsible for holding the permissions it needs, for obeying the rules and privacy settings of the platform you post it to, and for the consequences of it being seen, copied, or redistributed.
We do not publish on your behalf, we do not review what you publish, and we take no responsibility for how Khel Vision output is used or redistributed once it leaves us.
Once material is live on a third-party platform, we cannot undo that for you. Removing it is something you do through that platform.
The app asks you to confirm this before a reel is shared or saved out of it, every time, for every destination — a reel put on one platform today and another tomorrow is two publications.
We also cannot verify any of it. We cannot inspect footage to work out who owns a recording or how old the people in it are. We ask, we state the rules, and we record what you told us. That is the whole of what we can honestly do.
7Your content stays yours
You keep every right you have in the recordings you provide and in the reels you make. We claim no ownership of either.
You give us the permission we need to do the job you have asked for, and no more: to receive, store, copy and process the recording you send us so that we can return the rallies in it, and to keep it for the period described in the privacy policy. That permission ends when the material is deleted.
The Khel Vision name, mark and design are ours, and the app sets a small Khel Vision mark into every reel it renders. That mark is a property of the render and is not something the app can be asked to leave out.
8Liability, changes, and how to reach us
Khel Vision is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for lost recordings, lost reels, lost time, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of an alpha. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may revise these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes, and continuing to use Khel Vision after that means you accept the revision.
